A Beauty Must: Grand Beautè Box

Ladies!!!!!!!!! I really have been shady towards you! I am sorry! I should have posted about this earlier! It would have made a perfect gift idea for you to put on your Christmas list!

One of my nightlife friends told me she was working on a dope storage box to hold either your cosmetics or jewelry. She was going to make the box in 3 different sizes. Off the bat I loved the idea but couldn't really visualize it!! That was until she showed me the pictures!

HOLLLLYYYY SH*T!!! What I saw was nothing compared to what I visualized in my head. They come in 3 distinct sizes: Petit, Moyen and Grand. The drawers are deep and long and heavy! The quality of the Beautè Box is phenomenal! It weighs about 10-15 pounds and has stoppers on the bottom so it doesn't slide all over. Best part about the boxes are the interchangeable knobs!

I have the Grand box and all of my makeup fits comfortably in each draw (thank God!) As you can see from the pictures below it holds ALOT. I will be purchasing two Petit boxes in the near future to be sure not to overpack my Grand Box!

OOTD: Winter White Weekend

Two weekends ago my cousin had a her birthday party at the Yotel in New York City (I have to assume that people other than New Yorkers read my blog). Before this I had never gone to the Yotel. I was uber excited because I have heard nothing but good things about it.

I decided to bust out an all white fit! I don't know if I ever told you guys but I get food and makeup on EVERYTHING!!! So wearing white is a very adventurous thing for me! I paired a white blouse with white jeans and a blush moto jacket from Forever 21 topped off with a pair of snake skin Lady Daf's from Christian Louboutin . I think this outfit is the definition of Hi-Lo's but you can be the judge.

Ahh before I forget my boss gifted me the CUTEST Emilio Pucci-esque clutch! I have had it for a couple of months and thought it was the perfect addition to the outfit because it pulled in the all white and the jacket!!! Enjoy the pics and tell me what you think!

Impulse Cosmetics: Melancholy Opaque Matte Lipstick

Like I stated in my previous post I love matte lipstick! I feel like you can mold the shape of your lip and not have to worry about your lipstick bleeding everywhere. I am always searching for the perfect matte purple and I think I found it.

As I scrolled this Pinterest I saw this picture.
I IMMEDIATELY sent this to about 4 of my good friends to get their opinion and they all said "GET IT". I clicked on the picture and was brought to a Etsy link that broke my heart because it said it was no longer available. But everyone knows I am resilient. I did a little research and found Impulse Cosmetics' website. All of the below lippies are available on there website!  They are beautiful colors and to top it off they are all $6.99!
Yes, you read correctly $6.99. I immediately ordered Melancholy and another color (which escapes me at the moment). One downside is you have to purchase something called a Mattifying Lip Powder to make the lipstick fully matte (in my opinion that means the lipstick isn't truly a matte). The powder comes in a sample size and a whole size. I ended up purchasing the whole size because I figured I could use it with other lipsticks.

Hopefully, I will get this before my vacation on Monday! It would be a perfect addition to my NYE outfit!

Drugstore Finds: NYX Cosmetics, Black Opal and ELF Studio

The worse thing for me is being on my cell phone and browsing the aisles of any drugstore! Damage can be done in a matter of minutes...

Let's discuss what I picked up on Sunday
1) ELF Studio Smalls Angled Brush- I bought this solely for filling in my eyebrows. I am really a pencil kind of girl but I decided new year new things!

2) ELF Studio Eyebrow Kit- duh. You knew this was coming after the Angled Brush :-) . I have heard and watched nothing but amazing reviews on this product.

3) ELF Studio Matte Lip Color- I have been in love with the matte look lately. It stays fresh all day long! No one wants a sloppy red lip.

4) Black OPAL Cosmetics Foundation Stick- let me say this! I CANNOT WAIT to try this out!!!! OHHH MMMMM GGGGG ! When I have time away from my hectic schedule I usually watch hours worth of YouTube videos and people rave about these! So I made a mental note to pick this up! I really hope I fall in love with this product like others have.

5) NYX Dewy Finish Spray- I live for dewy skin. Which to me is stupid since I have such greasy skin but to each is own.

6) ELF Cosmetics Contouring Blush & Bronzing Powder- this is the only product on my list that I have already purchased. I love this. It reminds me a lot of the NARS Orgasm and Laguna set! Definitely dupe worthy! I was beating the pan on my old one so I decided to purchase a new one.

I will do a review and get back to you once have played with these purchases.

OOTN: White and Fur Dopeness

I went out last night! It really doesn't happen often but nevertheless....
I really wanted to wear an outfit jumpsuit from www.nastygal.com but there was none left in my size (insert very sad emoji here)
So I was "forced" to shop on my FAVORITE website www.ASOS.com and I went between these three options
I ordered options one and two! And they came on the day of the event! Now I can say I really wasn't loving the fit of the dress but all in all it worked for what I was trying to accomplish. I paired it with a vintage fur vest, a dope ass Live in Fashion see thru clutch and Zara heels. Only one ring.  Plan and simple but sometimes that work.

My MakeUp Bag: L.A. Girl PRO.conceal

Oh how I have missed blogging! Sorry I know it has been well over a week but your girl has been so busy! I know I know no excuse! But I have some goodies for you! For the past two weeks I picked up a couple of makeup items that I have been obsessing over lately! Come walk with me, talk with me through these dope products! I will dedicate a post to each of the products because they are all STAPLES.

L.A. Girl PRO.conceal
I am an avid YouTube watcher! I follow a lot of makeup artists and women who have a love of a "good beat". I first heard about this concealer maybe a year ago but like I have told you guys numerous times I am faithful to companies and products. I have been using MAC concealer since I can remember. I switch between Mac Pro Longwear, MAC Studio Finish and MAC Mineralize Concealer (my least favorite of the three). At first I watched the YouTube videos regarding the L.A. Girl PRO.conceal and it didn't really pique my interest until I saw the price!!! BABBBBBYYYYYYYYYYY $2.99 per tube! Listen even if this product of GARBAGE it would cost me almost nothing to find out. So I ventured over to the beauty supply store to purchase a couple of shades (of course they didn't have testers available). Ladies and Gents I lie to you not I went to about 5 beauty supply stores and all the lighter shades were sold out! I finally stumbled into a clothing store on Jamaica Avenue who happened to be selling L.A. Girl PRO.conceal. Each tube was about a dollar more. I purchased 3 tubes in the following colors: Creamy Beige, Natural and Classic Ivory.

I am no makeup artist but I know what I like and I love this product. The consistency reminds me of MAC Pro Longwear concealer. The L.A. Girl Concealer doesn't crease and it goes on really smooth. I am not love the applicator-which happens to be a little brush. I apply my concealer with my hands and blend it with a small kabuki brush so the brush applicator doesn't really do anything for me. A little goes an extremely long way. I am a true fan of a high lied under eye and this product is perfect for that.

My Obsession: Brittany Fuson Paper

I have always had a slight obsession for notebooks, pens, highlighters. Damnit! Anything in Staples or Sam Flax! I always pick up highlighters and different pens. I am the "color coding girl". You know that one that uses a specific color for everything! Yeah that's me!

I was roaming through one of my favorite blogs the other day Atlantic-Pacific and saw a picture of these DOPE notecards!!!!!! I immediately went to the site to see!

Not only does Brittany Fuson Paper  have note cards, for every occasion that may occur in a glam's girl's life, she also has a planner, stickers, notepads, greeting cards, enclosure cards, and the cutest luggage tags you have ever seen! I purchased a planner-.I have been wanting to become way more organized so this gives me an amazing excuse! I also purchased notepads for my office and personal use.

The only downside is (to my knowledge)  there is only one picture of a brown girl. I wish there were more but her items are still LOVELY!!!!!!

Go take a look and tell me what you think! I will be sure to post my goodies when they come!

Saturday Fit: Monotone Love

Quick Post! Today was extremely busy for me! Started off running some errands, going to my godson's birthday party and stopping by BOTH parental units houses then off to work.

I decided to wear my leather leggings from H&M (I purchased them last year). Simple black flats and a black shirt that I purchased from a little no name boutique off Jamaica Avenue (judge me not!!)! I topped it off with a floppy hat from H&M!
Say it with me..

Topic of Discussion: Christian Louboutin Shoes

Which Christian Louboutin shoes do I prefer? I get this question a lot.  My first pair of Christian Louboutin's I purchased for my 26th birthday. They were pony hair Pigalles. BABY!!!! Let me tell you something -they HURT!! And I don't mean a 3 on a scale of 1-10! I mean an 8 with a strong possibility of being 9! But guess what? I braved the pain! Why? Because they were Pigalles!! And they were dope! For a while I didn't purchase any more Louboutins because I knew what to expect.

Then I saw Evelyn Lozada post the red  Pigalle Spikes and I drooled!!

I decided that I had to have them! Let me explain something I am a  true 7 1/2. I bought the pigalles in an 8! WRONG DECISION!

Every time I wear them I feel like I have on my little cousin's shoes! I truly should have went a full size up.No, I didn't return them. Foolish me I really thought they would become more comfortable. That has yet to happen so they are NOW solely dinner shoes. You know what that means right? To the car to the restaurant and back home! My feet cannot bare any more.
Do you see the pain in my eyes?!?!

Now late last year I was looking for "work shoes" suitable for my taste. I work in an affluent town and felt like I needed to step my game up. Now please do not get me wrong I have all types of shoes: Ann Taylor, J. Crew, Ralph Lauren, Target, whatever the hell I find on eBay!  But my goal was to find a comfortable pair of Louboutins! I asked someone I knew who then put my in touch with Nic who works at the Christian Louboutin Horatio store and she was very knowledgeable (and so nice!). I told her what I wanted and she told me I should try the "Décolleté"! I took the gamble and purchased them in nude and black. I ordered both pair in a size 8.
LADIES AND GENTLEMEN WE HAVE A WINNER!!!

The "Décolleté" still has toe cleavage like Pigalles but are a 100 times more comfortable. I can wear these all day at work and still slip them on for dinner or a night out with my girls!
When I purchased the "Décolletés" they were $625 but now all shoes have gone up by $50. Yes, I know that is a tad bit expensive but to me it was well worth the price tag! Purchase the "Décolleté" and I promise you will not be disappointed .

Gag Worthy: Elie Tahari Jacqueline Shearling Jacket

So I was minding my business (wink wink) and browsing through the "What's New" section on the Bloomingdale's website and came across this beauty!

I am not  fan of shearling coats but I think the color and style combo did it for me!!!
And if you are wondering about the price only a cool $1,998.

This is definitely not a something I would wear  on an everyday basis but wouldn't mind having it in my arsenal.

Nothing Haunts Me Like Things I Did Not Buy: ASOS Cape with Neck Roll

Let me introduce you to my "Nothing Haunts Me Like Things I Did Not Buy" segment. Where I will gag over purchases I put in my "Saved" or "Favorites" when I should have just put it in my a cart!

Let's begin!

This may have been my stupidest decision in about a month!! Why would I pass up this!! What made me possibly think this would be here tomorrow!
This cape screamed "CRYSTAL" and I ignored it! I went back for her and she was gone! SIGH!! At only $53.06 this would have been a steal!!!

Better luck next time I guess!!!

WCW: Princess Deena Abdulaziz

Princess Deena Abdulaziz
I have to admit I have a huge Instagram crush on Princess Deena Abdulaziz. It took me a while to learn who and what she was! Who: Deena Abdulaziz What: A Saudi Arabian princess who owns a high scale boutique.

I have yet to see any flawed pictures of Princess Deena. She is, to me, the definition of FLAWLESS from her hair to her pumps. A natural beauty! Every year she invades New York's Fashion week RIPS IT APART and leaves!!!

In my opinion Princess Deena is the perfect mix between masculinity and femininity. She is the type of woman who could wear a 3 piece suit and would still look as feminine as she would by wearing a dress. To top it all off she is a lover of arm candy!!
Let me not bore you with any more words but show you what I mean! Enjoy guys!
