Lippies: "Stone" by MAC

You guys know I am never one to be selfish! As soon as I see something (and fall in love with it) I come on here and spill the tea! About two weeks ago I saw Draya from Basketball Wives LA post a picture on Instagram.
I almost fainted when I saw the color on her lips. She, like me, spread the love and told everyone it was "Stone" by MAC. I jumped right on and ordered it.

I am utterly convinced there is a little sprinkle of heaven in this tube of lipstick! Every time I put it on I get a ton of compliments and questions! Stone is the perfect mix between brown and gray (in my opinion). Some people would call the color taupe. FYI the picture above does this beauty NOOOOOO justice at ALL!! Even thought this color is matte the color is luxurious. The Stone Lipliner has been a little hard for me to get my hands on but believe me I am searching!!

This beauty retails for $17.00 on the MAC website. This is going to be my staple for the fall and winter months.

Lippies: Wine/Plum Colors

Let me apologize! I feel like all I have been posting about lately are dark lippies! See here and here. But I cannot get enough of them. To make matters worse my obsession became deeper once I saw this picture.

Rih Rih made my heart skip a couple of beats! Not only the lips but the whole look is sick. Her eyebrows, makeup and hair are all a perfect combo. It kind of looks like she had 20 minutes to get ready and pulled it off!

You know how that is ladies?? You get a quick "let's go to brunch/movie/mall run" and you throw things together hit your face with a quick beat and it WORKS!! Yes GOD!!!!

Anywho back to the lippie...

I posted the above pic yesterday and one of my followers said suggested this color was "Train Bleu" by NARS. "Train Bleu" is a matte deep plum. It looks a tad lighter that what Rihanna has on but that may be because of several different reasons. One may be the picture has been filtered or the lipstick thickly applied. Either way I trusted my followers suggestion and purchased it. I cannot wait until it gets here!

The color that Rihanna has on honestly reminds me of "Boyfriend Stealer" from MAC's Archie collection which came out two years ago. The only difference is the color she has on is matte. If she is wearing Boyfriend Stealer she could have achieved  the matte look by blotting with powder (excellent tip for turning any glossy lipstick to matte! click here)

Definitely a lot of choices to achieve this amazing look! If you have any suggestions of what this lip color is please leave it below.

My MakeUp Bag: L.A. Girl PRO.conceal

Oh how I have missed blogging! Sorry I know it has been well over a week but your girl has been so busy! I know I know no excuse! But I have some goodies for you! For the past two weeks I picked up a couple of makeup items that I have been obsessing over lately! Come walk with me, talk with me through these dope products! I will dedicate a post to each of the products because they are all STAPLES.

L.A. Girl PRO.conceal
I am an avid YouTube watcher! I follow a lot of makeup artists and women who have a love of a "good beat". I first heard about this concealer maybe a year ago but like I have told you guys numerous times I am faithful to companies and products. I have been using MAC concealer since I can remember. I switch between Mac Pro Longwear, MAC Studio Finish and MAC Mineralize Concealer (my least favorite of the three). At first I watched the YouTube videos regarding the L.A. Girl PRO.conceal and it didn't really pique my interest until I saw the price!!! BABBBBBYYYYYYYYYYY $2.99 per tube! Listen even if this product of GARBAGE it would cost me almost nothing to find out. So I ventured over to the beauty supply store to purchase a couple of shades (of course they didn't have testers available). Ladies and Gents I lie to you not I went to about 5 beauty supply stores and all the lighter shades were sold out! I finally stumbled into a clothing store on Jamaica Avenue who happened to be selling L.A. Girl PRO.conceal. Each tube was about a dollar more. I purchased 3 tubes in the following colors: Creamy Beige, Natural and Classic Ivory.

I am no makeup artist but I know what I like and I love this product. The consistency reminds me of MAC Pro Longwear concealer. The L.A. Girl Concealer doesn't crease and it goes on really smooth. I am not love the applicator-which happens to be a little brush. I apply my concealer with my hands and blend it with a small kabuki brush so the brush applicator doesn't really do anything for me. A little goes an extremely long way. I am a true fan of a high lied under eye and this product is perfect for that.
