Obsession with Lacquer: Back to Acrylic

I bit the bullet and went back to acrylic! After a long 8 months of regular manicures and gel manicures. Let me let you know something (if you didn't already know) there is such thing as over filing your nails! The gel manicure completely ruined my nails. They broke and chip horribly so I decided to go back to acrylic! And guess what I LOVE LOVE LOVE! Back to standing on line at 8 in the am on a Saturday, hoping to God that my nail polish doesn't smudge, hoping I don't break a nail and waiting the infamous two weeks for a fill!

Sole of the Day: Steve Madden "Raela"

I was running around like a mad woman today with my friend who came in for an extremely short time from out of town. She wanted to stop by the mall for an outfit. I stopped in to Steve Madden to find some cute comfy summer flats but instead I fell for Raela. I think I love Raela! No seriously! I didn't purchase but I haven't stopped thinking about her. I decided not to pick her up because with next week being Memorial Day I am pretty sure they are going to have a sale (ladies save your coins for the holiday sales) 

I truly believe the pic above does this shoe no justice so let me show you how they looked on my feet! 

Yummy right!!! These are perfect for work, a night out or a lunch date with your girls! They scream sexy! I wasn't really loving the other colors. I will definitely be purchasing them in snakeskin! They do it for me :-)

Sex and Spaghetti: Chanel Lego Clutch

So lovers... I woke up this morning and nearly had a massive heart attack. Really (well a tad bit of exaggeration) !! I walked into my bathroom this morning to discover a bag on my toilet seat that said "Happy Birthday". This was a little weird aside from the fact there was a gift on my toilet but  my birthday was 3 weeks ago. I proceeded to open up my gift which it was wrapped in about it 6 plastic  bags only to discover a Chanel box! I lie to you not I damn near gagged. The box was small but fairly heavy. When I opened it I saw a rare Chanel Lego bag!!! 

This is the first Sex and Spaghetti item that I am proud to say I own! I absolutely love this clutch. It's rare and DOPE!! Can't wait to build an outfit around it! You guys will be seeing a lot of my baby this summer. Hopefully I can do it justice just like the ladies below.

Little known fact: I name all my bags. I have officially named her "Lego"! I know so creative LOL!

Gag Worthy: Andrea Iyamah Beach Cape

Summer is around the corner and that means beach parties, fly swimwear and fly eyewear!!!!!! I think I found a fly cover up. I am a sucker for one and done outfits! This falls under that category!!

The first time I was introduced to Andrea Iyamah was last summer. I saw a Angela Simmons rocking a dope orange swimsuit in Barbados! 

I immediately googled and started stalking this website. Some would find the items on the site a tad expensive but I am a big believer in you pay for what you like. Remember you are the one that is going to rock it. If you love it and can afford it then BUY IT!! 

With that said Iet us get to this coverup I have been stalking ! Ugh! This is really ornamental not functional because you are wearing a lot of material  but WHO CARES I love it!!!  Let me introduce you to their Beach Cape. It is guaranteed to take your breath away! 

These capes are $144! Not cheap but oh so fabulous. This is  definitely on my list for the summer!

SOLESSSSSS: Schutz "Ermmana"

Let me introduce you to the The Birthday Shoes That Never Were.  Well, before I introduce you to the The Birthday Shoes That Never Were let me give you the backstory. I first saw these beauties on the Schutz website back in January/February and they were on Pre-Order. When I went back on the site in March it was sold out but I requested that they notify me if and when the shoes became available again! Well lo and behold mid-April I received the email saying they were available to order! I immediately hopped on the site ordered the shoes AND had them overnighted. I then called my friend Jae to explain these dope ass shoes I just copped! She told me she received the same email and ordered them too! She went on to say "Well at least I will have them by June." HUHHHHHHHHHHHH It seems like I missed a small but important detail. THE SHOES ARE PRE-ORDER AND WON'T BE SHIPPED UNTIL END OF MAY!!!!!! Please note my birthday was April 22nd! Not only was I crushed and pissed I wanted my money back for the overnight shipping (MAJOR SIDE EYE)... I didn't cancel my order because I still love these shoes even though they weren't my birthday shoes!

Isn't she a beauty!!!! You can wear this shoe with a million things!! They ring in at $260. Not horrible and believe me you will get your monies worth!!!!

Outfit of the Day: Army Fatigue and Sunshine

I swear I have been so horrible when it comes to taking shots of my outfits. I had to work an event on Saturday and decided to pull out my Egotistic Egotism Combat Leather Jacket , a white Old Navy v-neck tee shirt, New York & Company jeans , my favorite Fendi Havanas and my Fringly shoes from Steve Madden. You guys already know I love everything that Nick makes! So my jacket is perfect. 

The Fringly shoes are very comfortable! I didn't complain the whole day! That's amazing! 

I truly wish I took a full body pic. But don't fret because I will definitely be repeating this outfit !!!
